The Employment Coordination Committee of Guelph Wellington (ECC) will host the 23rd Annual Employer Recognition and Awards event with a breakfast celebration on May 24.
The event recognizes the achievements of employers who go above and beyond to help the people in their community obtain work experiences, training and employment opportunities.
Lloyd Longfield, president and CEO of the Guelph Chamber of Commerce will bring greetings to attendees. Paul Osborne, director of the Marketing and Recreation Centre for Conestoga College, will again host this year’s event as emcee.
The recognition breakfast is sponsored by the County of Wellington and the Workforce Planning Board of Waterloo Wellington Dufferin (a member of Ontario’s Employment and Training Network) and is hosted by the agencies that form the Employment Coordination Committee of Guelph Wellington.
The event takes place on May 24 from 8am to 10am at the Italian Canadian Club, 135 Ferguson St.
