There will be a late night buffet, a licensed cash bar, with complimentary non-alcoholic drinks and a silent auction.
All proceeds from the evening will be benefiting John Black Public School’s Playground Fundraiser.
SM Polymers of Fergus has offered to match the proceeds from Dueling Pianos night up to $5,000.
The school currently does not have any safe outdoor playground equipment for its 350 students during recess.
Fundraising efforts have been underway since September 2016 with a goal to reach $57,000 for a new accessible primary playground, a junior climber and to add intermediate upgrades for the Grade 7 and 8 students.
To date the school has raised $24,200 with the support of in-school fundraisers and the generous support of school families and community sponsors, organizers state.
The accessible primary playground is being ordered and is set to be installed in May, as well as some of the benches for the intermediate area.
Fundraising is now being put towards the junior climber.
