CENTRE WELLINGTON – A driver was taken to a Hamilton trauma centre with serious injuries following a singe-vehicle crash here on Tuesday.
Emergency crews were called to the scene, on Highway 6 between the 4th and 6th lines, south of Fergus, just before 7am on Jan. 12.
An emergency page sent to firefighters stated a person was ejected from the vehicle.
Wellington County OPP officials say the driver of a southbound SUV “lost control” and the vehicle “entered the west ditch and rolled over several times.”
Highway 6 was closed between the 4th and 6th lines while OPP officers investigated.
Police are asking anyone that may have witnessed the collision, or was in the area at the time and has dash cam video, to call 1-888-310-1122.
