In June, staff brought forward the draft parks, recreation and culture master plan for information to Centre Wellington council during a June 14 special meeting.
Staff said the purpose of this plan is to establish a written document created through collaboration among council, the community services department, community services advisory committee, community organizations accessing or potentially accessing community services facilities, programs and amenities and the public.
The expected outcome is to establish a plan that ensures optimal long-term services, programs and facilities while providing an effective and efficient service to residents and visitors. The plan is also posted on connectcw.ca for further review and to receive input from the community, stakeholders and agencies.
