Does your child struggle with reading and literacy?

The Reading Rocks program, will be offered once again at St. James Catholic High School in Guelph this fall.

The program, offered by the Learning Disabilities Association of Wellington County, is individualized and geared to students aged six to 12 with learning disabilities or for those struggling with reading.

Students work for eight weeks (twice a week, for a total of 16 sessions) with a trained volunteer tutor on the areas of phonics, sight words, fluency and more.

The session begins on Oct. 1 (with no session on Thanksgiving) and runs Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 to 7:30pm. Enrolment is limited, and is dependent on volunteer recruitment.
