The city is having a family-friendly rally and parade in St. George’s Square to support leaders as they meet in December in Poland with other countries.
The meeting is for a new global climate treaty next year. The event includes music with James Gordon and street theatre. People are asked to bring their messages on a T-shirt or tea towel to hang on a communal clothesline – or bring a clothesline of messages. The parade goes down Gordon to 10 Carden Street. Hot refreshments.
