GUELPH – Even though they won’t be holding meetings for a while, Guelph Women in Networking is still offering a $1,500 scholarship to a female college or university student in Wellington County and the deadline is approaching.
Recipients are women who show academic excellence, responsibility and leadership and are involved in their local and scholastic community. They are working towards a career and will advocate, promote, or enhance the success of women in their field.
Candidates must be female, and full-time college or university students in a program longer than 30 weeks. They must be in their first year of study at least, and will be continuing their studies. They must be a resident of Wellington County or registered at a college or university in Wellington County. And they must be able to attend the presentation ceremony in October.
