WELLINGTON COUNTY – Cyclists from Centre Wellington’s Green Lanes came together with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Centre Wellington (BBBSCW), Guelph Tool Library’s Free Hub and Kitchener’s Red Raccoon Bike Rescue for Be*Spoke: A Festival About Bikes on Jan. 25.
About 30 volunteers spent the morning at the new CW Co-Work space in Elora repairing bikes to distribute to the community.
BBBSCW participants attended the Big Bike Fix as an opportunity for youth to learn bike-related skills, including changing a tire.
In the afternoon, people gathered at the Gorge Cinema to watch The Engine Inside.
