CW Peewee “˜AA”™ Fusion completed first two rounds of OMHA playoffs

The CW Peewee ‘AA’ Fusion have completed their first two rounds of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) playoffs, producing a combined eight wins and one loss record.

In the opening round the team started with a 5-1, thereby qualifying for the OMHA quarter finals, where they met the Flamborough Sabres in a best-of-five and put them out in three games by winning 2-1, 4-2, and 1-0 respectively.

The team is now in the OMHA semi-finals against  the Burlington Eagles in a best-of-five series, which started on Feb. 23.

Notable performances to date for the Fusion include: Riley McCabe (3 shutouts), Brayden Krieger (5 goals, 10 assists), Kurtis Goodwin (6,7), Brett Harrison (5,6), Jonah White (2,5), Bo Columbus (4,2), David Mabey (3,3), Jayden Bushey (3,1), Kyle Detweiler (1,3), Oscar Castellan (0,2), Jakson Kirk (1,0), Caleb McDougall (1,0) and Drew Kelly (0,1).
