The CW Fusion Minor Bantam AA team has advanced to the OMHA semi finals.
The boys swept the Tecumseh Eagles three games to zero.
In the home opener the boys came out firing on all cylinders and took the first game 3-1.
Game two was a nail biter but the Fusion pulled it out by a score of 2-1.
The team then made the long road trip to Tecumseh with the goal of never having to go back. It was a tight game and the Fusion had to fight for the win, but in the end pulled it out by a 1-0 score. Christian Linton had the shutout.
The team meets the Caledon Hawks in the semi final. Game one was played on Feb. 25; results were unknown by press time. Game two is Feb. 27, 2pm at the Fergus sportplex.
Points went to (goals, assists): Jack McDonald (3,1), Jakson Kirk (1,2), Zachary Burt (1,1), Logan Rayner (1,1), Troy Hall (2 assists), Darren Eby, Ethan Meyer and Caleb Cribbin (1 assist each).
