Centre Wellington Fire Rescue is replacing two 20-year-old rescue trucks from the Elora and Fergus stations.
“We hope to have the Fergus truck in service by the end of May and the Elora station’s new rescue by the end of June. The new trucks will serve our fire departments and our community of the next 20 years,” said fire chief Brad Patton.
“Many fire departments attend (the Ontario Association of Fire Chiefs Trade Show) and fire fighters look for new ideas.”
