Networking Breakfasts
Have you wondered what pooled registered pension plans are all about? Then join us for breakfast on Feb. 27 when Dan Allen of The Heritage Group – Private Financial Services Inc. is the speaker. Networking Breakfasts are held on the last Wednesday of the month, except for December, July and August. Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce breakfasts start at 7:30am and cost $18 for members and $23 for “future members.”
Business After Hours
On Feb. 13 Barney Tracy of Tracy Group Insurance and Financial Services will be providing information on the chamber’s group insurance plan at the CW chamber office at 400 Tower Street South in Fergus.
These events are held usually the third Wednesday of most months from 5:30 to 7:30pm.
Pub Night
The next pub night will be on Feb. 5 at Cork in Elora. Appetizers will be provided by the host with a cash bar. No RSVP required.
Pub nights are usually held the first Tuesday of the month, between 5:30 and 7:30pm.
Chamber trip
From Aug. 31 to Sept. 9 the Chamber is working with Noecker Travel and going to Iceland. The price per person, based on double occupancy, is $3,550 and includes airfare, hotels, ground transportation, buffet breakfasts and dinners.
Those who book and pay in full by Feb. 28 will save $195 per person. There are only 16 spots available. An information session on the trip is being held on March 7 from 5 to 7pm at the chamber office. RSVP to 519-843-5140.
