On three separate occasions, the Sparkle Brite Car Wash located on St. David Street North in Fergus, has been the target of criminal activity. A debit card reader, valued at approximately $1,500 was stolen during the evening hours on Aug. 11.
An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen during the early morning hours on Dec. 1. Damage was also caused to the utility room. A suspect is described as male, with a slender build, wearing a dark coat with fur lined hood and a ball cap. He rode a light-coloured bicycle.
Most recently, a break and enter occurred during the early morning hours on Dec. 11. A suspect in this crime is described as male, stalky build, with a slight limp. He was wearing jeans and a dark winter coat with the hood up and had a ball cap on underneath.
