The Concerned Residents Coalition (CRC) held its Second Annual Garage Sale recently, raising funds for its work on JDCL’s Hidden Quarry proposal.
The roller coaster weather added drama to the event which opened in sunny, hot weather on Saturday morning and closed with incessant showers and miserably cold temperatures blown in by high winds.
Sometimes damp but always undaunted, more than 400 people attended the Garage Sale, and at the time of writing, the sale had raised almost $10,000.
All funds raised for CRC are used in the community organization’s work to build a fair and thorough assessment of the Hidden Quarry application. Among the expenses CRC incurs are the costs of professional technical consultants.
