MOUNT FOREST – Officials have declared a COVID-19 outbreak over at Louise Marshall Hospital here.
A July 26 press release from North Wellington Health Care noted Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health (WDGPH) confirmed the outbreak was over the previous day.
Officials announced visiting hours will resume at the hospital but anyone feeling unwell should not visit – nor should those who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 10 days or have been in close contact with someone who has COVID.
“Masks are required when visiting a patient in the hospital,” states the release.
The Louise Marshall outbreak was declared on July 9 after two hospital-acquired infections were identified on the inpatient unit.
