County museum welcomes fourth annual Christmas market

FERGUS – The Wellington County Museum and Archives is set to host its fourth annual Christmas market Nov. 29 and 30.

The market, which will be taking place at the Museum, will run from 4pm to 9pm Nov. 29 and 12pm to 5pm Nov. 30.

“We are excited to host our 4th annual Christmas Market and inviting both new and returning guests and vendors,” said assistant museum programmer Katie Clarke.

Clarke says this year’s market will feature over 70 vendors selling goodies such as clothing, art, and homemade trinkets and goods, as well as a variety of food vendors, including Fo’ Cheezy, The Serial Griller and Beaver Tails.

Both days will feature unique activities and live musical, with artists Natalie Reis, Meggie Faye and even the St. John’s Elora Carolers.

Other events include Box Hockey, face painting, campfires, and those visiting on Saturday (Nov. 30) will also have the option to go on a horse wagon ride provided by Windy Acres and visit with Santa.
