WELLINGTON COUNTY – The county is accepting applications for its annual Community Grants Program, inviting local not-for-profit organizations to seek funding for initiatives that make a difference in local communities.
Through the Community Grants Program, Wellington County provides eligible applicants with up to $2,000 to assist with projects that provide meaningful benefits to the community.
“Wellington County council is committed to fostering community engagement and supporting the invaluable work being done by local organizations,” county warden Andy Lennox said in a news release.
The program supports a variety of initiatives, from cultural events and recreational activities to educational programming and social services.
Eligible applicants must operate as a not-for-profit organization with a formal structure, such as a board of directors or similar committee.
Additionally, the proposed project must deliver services or products that directly benefit residents.
The deadline for applications is Nov. 30.
