Council okays $30,000 to pave two roads

Guelph-Eramosa council has decided to proceed with a $30,039 re­surfacing project along Dennis and Queen Streets in Rock­wood.

 Public Works Manager Ken Gagnon said in a report to council the work was included as an optional item in a tender for upgrades to the 6th Line, which was awarded to Cox Construction earlier this year.

Council unanimously ap­proved the work, with the funds to come from the “roads resurfacing reserve.”

Councillor Roger Knapp was absent.
