Council and staff here will be getting a 2% pay hike.
On March 7, councillors passed a bylaw that alters the rate of pay to council, committee members and staff for the coming year.
The mayor will now be paid $11,179 annually, plus $162 per meeting over and above regular council meetings.
For councillors, the amount is $7,398 annually, plus $108 per meeting over and above regular council meetings.
