The Elora Farmers’ Market is hosting a food demonstration that features the local, organic delights of Mmmarvellous Mushrooms on Feb. 4.
Market vendor Julie Baumlisberger, from Windy Field Farms in Grand Valley, will be conducting cooking demonstrations of her farm’s organic oyster and shitake mushrooms, offering an array of tastings profiling her fabulous fungi including Asian meatballs, mushroom toasts, stuffed portabella caps, and appetizer wraps.
Free samples will be available every 1/2 hour starting at 10:30 am.
