FLORADALE 2
Community took the lead with a goal in the dying minute of the first period. Terry Horst sent Joe Clemmer down the right side. Clemmer hit the top of the face-off circle and rifled a slapshot through the pads of the goaltender.
Community added their next goal midway through the second. Tanner Hackbart and Kyle Roes set up Keven Gingrich with a pass in the neutral zone. Gingrich crossed the blue line and blasted a shot through the crowd to send the puck to the back of the net.
Floradale edged back into the game a minute later. Mike Martin sent Ryan Martin into the Community end. Martin snapped a shot off the pads of the netminder and Willis Martin flicked the rebound into the open corner.
Community came back with two goals before the period ended. Clemmer scored both goals to complete his hat trick in just two periods. Horst and Sam Bauman assisted.
Community added three more goals in the third.Sam Bauman scored twice. Kevin Gingrich scored the other and assisted on another. Other assists were earned by Kyle Roes, Delmer Frey, Rick Brubacher and Tanner Hackbart.
Floradale came back for one final goal late in the game. Ryan Martin scored the goal, assisted by Mike Martin.
BETHEL 6
LISTOWEL 1
Listowel opened the game with a goal in the first shift. Kyle Streicher sent Travis Kuepfer down the ice and Kuepfer went to the net and blasted a shot through the pads of the goaltender.
Bethel tied the game shortly after with a power play. Zac Bauman and Caleb Bauman set up Matt Horst at the corner of the net. A quick flick behind the goaltender tied the game.
Horst went on the score the go-ahead goal as well late in the period. Mackenzie Bauman used a scramble around the net to tee one up for Horst at the blue line. Horst rifled a shot through the crowd.
Bethel started the spread in the second period, scoring two more unanswered goals. Matt Horst scored an unassisted goal to complete his hat trick. Russ Shouldice and rookie Ben Wideman worked the puck to give Mike Veens a goal from in close to finish the period.
Bethel added two more goals late in the third to put the game away. Jim Wideman rolled the puck under the goaltender’s pads, and Brandon Shoemaker sent the puck up over the netminder’s shoulder. Assists by Shoemaker, Tim Bauman and Mike Seiling.

The scoring didn’t begin in this game until late into the first. Brent DeKoning started things off for Drayton, skating into a loose puck and rolling it puck up over the goaltender.
Drayton added one more before the period ended. Robyn Curry set up Pat Landman at the net. Landman slipped the puck into the short side.
Missionary came back with less than a minute in the period. Curtis Bults took a shot on net and Rich Colwill buried the rebound.
Missionary edged back into the game midway through the second. Matt Freund and Matt Burnett set up Curtis Bults on the right side. Bults snapped a rising wrist shot into the webbing for the goal.
Drayton responded to rebuild their two goal advantage. Eric Deckers carried the puck deep and Robyn Curry centred a pass to Herman Mulder standing in front of the net. Mulder snapped the puck through the goaltender for the goal.
But Missionary came back with two goals to tie the game. Rich Colwill played give-and-go with Dave Scholten for a tidy wrist shot into the open corner, then set up Scholten from behind the net for the tying goal into the short side.
Drayton stormed the net for the go-ahead goal in the dying seconds of the period. When the whistle was blown, DeKoning earned the goal and Rumoh the assist.
Missionary flew into the third period to tie things up again. Nice passing by Matt Burnett and Curtis Bults gave Dylan Bults and shot into the top corner over a sliding goaltender.
Missionary took the lead for the first time in the game. Matt Freund sent Curtis Bults skating through the neutral zone. Bults slipped through the defence and feathered the puck into the top corner.
Drayton stormed back to tie the game again. Brent DeKoning set up Pat Landman for a rush and a goal.
But Curtis Bults took a stretch pass from Matt Burnett and flew down the ice with a break away. A tuck into the corner and Missionary took the fragile lead again. This time the lead would hold, despite Drayton pulling their goaltender in the final minute for the extra skater.
