DRAYTON – The Community Christian School here is preparing for Bazaar Day – a fundraiser for the school that takes place every 18 months.
It’s set for April 26 from 10am to 2pm at the PMD Arena.
“The Bazaar Day will feature all the things you know and love, including Country Market Baking, a delicious lunch menu, coffee bar, expanded games area for the children and more,” officials state.
New this year is a Spring Market that will include a variety of local and homemade items, including homemade soaps, candles and hand crafted home decor.
Plus, Laurie’s Library and Oranje Grove will be set up for the day.
At 7pm on April 26 there will be a live auction and desserts and coffee will be served.
There will also be an online auction from April 21 to 25 at 9pm.
Officials say the fundraiser “will make a lasting impact on the lives of the students at Community Christian School” by helping to make the school financially affordable to as many families as possible.
“With the support of our community, we can offer a wide array of unique and desirable items that will raise much-needed funds that directly benefit our students,” officials state.
Auction items may include:
- gift certificates to local businesses or services;
- tickets to events, concerts, or sporting activities;
- vacation packages or weekend getaways;
- artwork, jewelry, or unique collectibles;
- experiences, such as private tours, lessons, or special dinners; and
