Easy as pie

On April 6, Mount Forest United Church opened its doors to the community for a day of inter-generational skill sharing.  All ages came together to learn car maintenance, apple pie baking, sewing without a machine and beeswax candle making, along with a plethora of other workshops that officials say provided fun, knowledge and friendship building. Baking her first pie was international student Lucia Polo Martinez of Spain, who attends Wellington Heights Secondary School.  Submitted photo
