From April 8 to May 10 the Alton Mill Arts Centre will be home to an art exhibition exploring the implications of climate change.
This Changes Everything, inspired by Naomi Klein’s book, will display two- and three-dimensional artworks in galleries and artists’ studios.
Artists were asked to engage the ideas presented in Klein’s book and to create works that respond to a climate change threat from their unique points of view.
The show will run at the Mill Arts Centre, 1402 Queen Street, Alton (in Caledon),
Artists contributing to the show include controversial artist Mendelson Joe, who will have several paintings in the Bartlett Gallery.
There will be an opening event on April 11.
There will be opening receptions in the galleries from 1 to 4pm, and most studios will be open.
Admission is free. For further details go to www.altonmill.ca.
