Clifford to host second annual Life Outdoors Show April 5-6

CLIFFORD – Outdoor enthusiasts will be making their way to Clifford for the second annual Life Outdoors Show on April 5 and 6 from 10am to 4pm at the Clifford Arena.

“This two-day event provides an opportunity to experience an interactive taste of the outdoors with a large selection of exhibitors in the areas of fishing, hunting, camping, cottage life and homesteading,” organizers stated in a press release.

“The Life Outdoors Show is the perfect opportunity to support Canadian businesses.

“It is also an opportunity to support the Clifford Rotary Club, as all proceeds will be donated to this important community organization.”

Some special guests this year include the Owen Sound Salmon Spectacular, which will be back with an opportunity to win a boat and other great prizes.

Attendees will have opportunities to:

  • meet author Diana Young, whose recent book A Short History of the Beginning explores life in an Ontario hunting camp;
  • “see the works of Pete Daize, whose pieces capture the essence of rural and outdoor life,” organizers say;
  • reel in that big catch with fishing lures designed and crafted by expert anglers. Discover the best places to catch fish in Ontario with captains who can take you on amazing adventures;
  • get tips from pro hunters and discover the latest gear and equipment;
  • discover how to make a cottage or homestead more energy efficient and productive with solutions from off-grid specialists;
  • find decor for your cottage or cabin from leading furniture designers and craftspeople;
  • discover community groups and organizations that help people connect with the outdoors;
