The downtown square was created with the assistance of funding the Canada Healthy Communities Initiative as well as contributions from the Clifford Rotary Club, Clifford Firefighters Association and the Town of Minto. Live music from Juanita and the Big Deal could be heard downtown as people milled about vendor stands lining the sidewalks.
