CLIFFORD – Gladiolus, sunflowers, roses, potted plants, as well as fruits and vegetables from local gardens were showed and judged at the Clifford and District Horticulture Flower and Edibles Show on Aug. 22. From left: Elaine Young had the most points, followed by Ethel Weber and Jean Yenssen. Young was awarded “Best in Show” for the judge’s choice of cut flowers and Yenssen was awarded the “President’s Special” for an arrangement of August birth flowers.
