Citizens awarded King Charles III Coronation Medal

WELLINGTON COUNTY – The Honourable Rob Black, Senator for Ontario, presented the King Charles III Coronation Medal to recipients in the Senate of Canada Chamber last week.  The medal was awarded to exceptional Canadians who have distinguished themselves by dedicating their time and efforts to enhancing the lives of those around them and bringing honour to our nation. The Honourable Percy Downe, Senator for Prince Edward Island, also presented two medals during the ceremony. Local recipients included, Kelly Ann Daynard and Christine Oldfield from Guelph, Russel Gordon Gammon and Susan Lorraine Harrop from Fergus, Cathy Lennon, Donald Wilbert Lobb, Lillie Ann Morris and Wendy Whittaker from Rockwood.
