CIBC helps with blood drive

FERGUS – The Fergus branch of CIBC has partnered with Canadian Blood Services to help ensure lifesaving blood products are available to hospital patients in need.

As part of its dedication to the community, the local branch has adopted the Fergus Donor Centre on March 26 and has committed to recruit new donors and fill appointments to help collect 100 blood donations at the clinic.

“We are very excited to be able to help save lives through blood donation,” said Donna Woods, banking centre leader.

“There are so many ways that you can help those in your community, and donating blood is one with immediate impact.

“Join our branch on March 26 and help save someone in the Fergus area within the next week.”

Community members can take part by making an appointment to donate blood on March 26.

The clinic will take place on March 26 from 2:30 to 7:30pm at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex in Fergus.
