MINTO – The Harriston-Minto Agricultural Society is set to host its first ever Christmas Tour of Lights Charity Challenge.
Various community groups, charities, associations and schools have come together to create an old fashioned holiday lights tour around Minto.
Each organization has contributed to a prize pot for the winning charity and the community will decide the winner.
Residents are invited to download a tour map or pick one up from a participating store, complete the tour and vote for their favourite light display.
Tour maps are available by donation from Eventbrite or harristonmintofair.ca or in store at the Clifford Country Store, Palmerston Home Hardware and Harriston Home Hardware.
The tour opens Dec. 1 and closes Dec. 24 with the winner being announced on Christmas Day.
