CAMBRIDGE – The Hamilton Family Theatre in Cambridge will be presenting a high-energy evening with the world’s foremost Chicago tribute band, Brass Transit for two shows only on Sept. 16 at 2 and 7:30pm.
The band will be playing hits, such as Saturday In The Park, 25 or 6 to 4, If You Leave Me Now, Feelin’ Stronger Every Day, and You’re The Inspiration.
The band boasts an impressive lineup of top-notch musicians. Taking on lead vocals is actor and comedian Ian Jutsun, who appeared in the original ensemble of Broadway’s Bombay Dreams.
Leading the band is studio musician Tony Carlucci. Silvio Simone is on guitar, Paul DeLong on drums, Don Breithaupt on keys, Doug Gibson on trombone, Phil Poppa on saxophones, and Jay Speziale on bass.
Brass Transit has been touring North America since 2008, dazzling audiences with their dynamic tribute to the decades-long, multiplatinum songbook of Chicago. More than just replicating the songs, this powerhouse of a group embodies the music, leaving crowds in awe.
“This is a great opportunity for audiences to experience another form of entertainment outside of live theatre at the Hamilton Family Theatre Cambridge,” says Alex Mustakas, artistic director of Drayton Entertainment.
“These tribute concerts are designed to attract different types of audiences – specifically, those who appreciate live music and want to relive the music of their youth.”
This tribute concert has been created by an independent producer and is presented by Drayton Entertainment outside of its regular theatre offerings. Tickets are $40 for adults and $25 for youth under 20 years of age. HST is applicable to all ticket prices.
Tickets may be purchased online at draytonentertainment.com, in person at the Box Office, or by calling 519-621-8000 or toll-free 1-855-DRAYTON (372-9866).
