Centre Wellington holding key projects open house

CENTRE WELLINGTON – The township is bringing its Connect CW concept to the public on one night, in one location, for all residents to meet with the staff and project team members on Centre Wellington’s major initiatives.  

Mayor Shawn Watters will host a town hall as part of the key projects open house. 

The open house style will allow residents to learn about key projects and gather information on what matters the most to them.  

The meeting will take place as a drop-in format from 6 to 8pm at the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex, with Watters’ presentation beginning at 7pm. Key projects showcased will include:

– Active Transportation and Mobility Master Plan;

– Community Connect;

– Cultural Action Plan;

– Downtown Fergus and  Elora Shuttle Bus Program;

– Disc Golf Course;

– Foote Park Playground Replacement;

– Gerrie Road Reconstruction;

– Municipal Downtown Parking Strategy Survey;

– Short-Term Rental Regulation;

– St. David Street Reconstruction;

– Urban Forestry Program;

– Victoria Park Playground Replacement; and

– Water & Wastewater Servicing Master Plan.
