CENTRE WELLINGTON – The township is closing all its municipal facilities in response to new provincial pandemic restrictions.
Due to recent trends showing an increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations, the province has made the decision to return to the modified version of step two of the Roadmap to Reopen effective Jan. 5, at 12:01am for at least 21 days, subject to trends in public health and health system indicators.
On Jan. 4 Centre Wellington announced all township facilities will be closed to the public until Jan. 26.
Township staff at the Elora municipal office are available to assist residents by electronic means only.
Phones will be answered between the hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday at 519-846-9691.

The Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex will remain open for Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health vaccination appointments only.
The Fergus Grand Theatre box office will remain open for ticket sales of upcoming events online at www.fergusgrandtheatre.ca.
Victoria Park Seniors Centre virtual programs will continue as scheduled.
The Elora Fergus Tourism Office will be closed, however washrooms at this location, Bissell Park, Weigh Scale building and Forfar Park will remain open to the public from 10am to 6pm daily.
