Networking Breakfasts
Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce breakfasts start at 7:30am and cost $18 for members and $23 for “future members.” The next one is:
– June 27 at the Gorge Country Kitchen, topic: the Fergus and Elora BIAs.
Business After Hours
These events are held usually the third Wednesday of most months from 5:30 to 7:30pm. The next events are:
– June 13, M&M Meat Shops hosts the chamber’s wrap-up charity barbecue at the chamber office; and
– June 21, the 14th Annual Golf Day at Arris Valley Golf and Country Club.
Pub Night
The first Tuesday of the month, between 5:30 and 7:30pm is the chamber’s pub night. The next event is on June 5 at The Goofie Newfie in Fergus.
New board of directors
At the chamber’s annual meeting on May 31 the following new directors will be welcomed for a two-year term: Terry Godreau (PlanetCPU), Peter Mohr (Shoetopia), Joal Suraci (RLB LLP) and Allan Teal (Al-Do-It). They join fellow members Lynne Bard (Beyond Rewards), Garth Green (HJM Insurance and Financial Services), Janet Harrop (Harrcroft Acres), Aileen Hawkins (M&M Meat Shops), Barney Tracy (Tracy Group Benefits & Financial Services) Paul Walker (Elora LCBO) and Michael Weinstein (The Weinstein Group).
