The arts centre here has announced receipt of a second Ontario Arts Council grant to help assist with ongoing operating costs and needs.
The first grant for $12,500 was received last fall and the OAC indicated that with budgetary restrictions on new applicants for a grant for visual and media arts at artist-run centres, that would be the extent of the aid. However, a supplementary grant of $12,500 was awarded last week.
“I was utterly blown away when we were awarded the complete make-up of our initial request of $25,000,” centre general manager Arlene Saunders said. For information visit eloracentreforthearts.ca.
