Deputy-mayor Judy Dirksen said after the success of the recent 10th anniversary celebrations, the event’s committee is recommending similar events to be held every year.
Her notice of motion is to include the event being held next year on the Family Day weekend.
In addition, the committee recommended again giving away free “Minto mints” to event participants.
Mayor David Anderson said the motion would be discussed at the next council meeting.
