Erin will host its first Canada Day celebrations this year in McMillan Park from 11am to 7pm.
There will be free children’s activities provided by vendors including Mighty Machines photos, cupcake decorating and Canada Day swag for everyone.
A beer garden will run from 1 to 7pm for the adults and there will be a barbecue and funnel cakes by the Friendly Chef Adventures.
Orton will also be hosting its 34th annual Canada Day chicken barbecue celebration at the Orton Community Church with sittings at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30pm.
There will be live entertainment, 50/50 draw, snack bar and a fireworks show at dusk at Orton Park with a small fee at the gate.
