ABOYNE — The Wellington County Museum and Archives (WCMA) is hosting several “spooktacular” events this month to celebrate Halloween.
“We’re thrilled to bring back an exciting lineup of Halloween programing,” said museum programming supervisor Katie Clarke.
“Whether it’s your first time participating or have made it a tradition, the WCMA is your go-to for Halloween fun in Wellington County.”
Murder Mystery Nights (ages 14+), Oct. 27 and 28 starting at 7pm. Unleash your detective skills for this live theatrical performance, complete with hors d’oeuvres, drinks and live music.
There are two types of tickets: an alcoholic drink ticket is $50 plus HST, and a non-alcoholic drink ticket is $45 plus HST.
Cemetery Tours (ages 14+) are on Oct. 20, 21, 27 and 28 from 7pm and 9pm. Explore the burial sites of the former “Poor House.” Tickets are $15 per person plus HST.
Hallow’Tots Party will be held on Nov. 1 from 10 to 11am. The event is perfect for children under five. There will be crafts, games, stories and trick-or-treating. Pre-registration is required and admission is by donation.
The Pumpkin Walk is also on Nov. 1 at 7pm. Bring carved pumpkins to the museum between 9am and 4:30pm. At dusk, pumpkins will be lit for one last show. Pre-registration is not required, and admission is by donation.
