Upgraded Palmerston arena officially opened
PALMERSTON – Renovated recreation facilities were officially opened here by the Town of Minto on Nov. 12. The $2-million project includes additional and renovated dressing rooms at the Palmerston arena, a new ball diamond and upgraded LED ball field lighting for existing diamonds.

Hockey game raises $16,000 for local child awaiting kidney transplant
PALMERSTON – A hockey tournament at the Palmerston arena on Nov. 5 raised $16,000 for Ken and Carolyn Brubacher as their 12-year-old son Trevor awaits a kidney transplant. Innovative, Whispering Meadows Family Farms and Martin’s Family Fruit Farm sponsored the event.
