FERGUS - The Special Investigations Unit is looking into the circumstances of a police shooting in Fergus, resulting in the death of 31 year-old Mathias Bunyan on Aug. 15.

NORTH PERTH – A Fergus resident faces a number of charges - including harassment, assault and uttering threats - following what police are calling "a number of domestic-related incidents" over five years.

PUSLINCH –  A Guelph man has died and another person was injured in a serious car crash here on Friday afternoon.

FERGUS – A Fergus man faces threat and weapons charges after police say he caused a disturbance here earlier this week.

ROCKWOOD – Police are looking for help after a rifle and several air guns were stolen during a break-in here.

ERIN – Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash here that left an Acton motorcyclist dead. On July 31 at about 3:35pm, emergency crews responded to the 2nd Line near Sideroad 17 in Erin where a motorcycle left the road.

CENTRE WELLINGTON – A Kitchener man has been charged in connection with a serious crash here that left one person dead and two others seriously injured.

GUELPH/ERAMOSA – A Belwood man has been charged with sexual assault following an incident here earlier this month. Wellington County OPP officials say that on July 9 at about 4:45am they received a report of a sexual assault that occurred in a vehicle on Wellington Road 29 in Guelph/Eramosa.
