ERIN – Three GTA residents involved with a Thornhill business face several charges after a large amount of lumber was fraudulently purchased from an Erin business  last summer.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – An early morning incident on Feb. 8, during which shots were fired at a Fergus home, has been linked to a “stolen vehicle incident” in Guelph and “stolen vehicle occurrences” in Waterloo and Wellington as well as a gas drive-off.

HARRISTON – Police continue to investigate the March 2019 murder of a Kitchener man reported missing from Harriston. Jason John Brown, 43, was last seen on Jessie Street in Harriston.

WELLINGTON NORTH – Police have now charged an Arthur woman with impaired driving causing bodily harm in connection with a serious crash here recently. On Feb. 27 at about 5pm, emergency crews responded to a collision involving two vehicles on Highway 6, south of Mount Forest.

WELLINGTON NORTH – Police have identified the three people who died in a serious two-vehicle collision here on Wednesday night. Dead are Gurinder Jeet Singh Lidder, 31, of Mono, Karanpreet Singh Gill, 22, of Barrie, and Sunny Khurana, 24, of Brantford.

WELLINGTON NORTH – Police are investigating a serious collision here that sent four people to hospital with serious and life threatening injuries.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – The massive police operation over the weekend to end the occupation of Ottawa by anti-vaccine mandate protesters involved federal, provincial and local officers and resulted in close to 200 arrests, nearly 400 charges and over 70 vehicles towed.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – The Police Services Board has approved a bylaw increasing the charge for “at fault” false alarms.
