WELLINGTON COUNTY – A $647,500 provincial grant will ensure the continuation of a local support after suicide program over the next three years, and will bring a new group program to the county for anyone who has attempted suicide.

WELLINGTON NORTH – Police have charged a Kitchener man in connection with a hit and run last week that left a teen cyclist with serious injuries.

ROCKWOOD – Police are looking for help to identify a man that entered a home here while the owner was outside.

ROCKWOOD – A 33-year-old Mississauga man is dead following a boating incident at the Rockwood Conservation Area on June 4.

FERGUS – Four months after bullets ripped into a home here in the middle of the night, no charges have been laid by police and OPP officials are saying little about the incident.

SOUTHGATE – On May 31 at about 8:20pm, emergency crews responded to the scene at a Southgate Township address on the north side of Highway 89, the boundary road between Wellington North and Southgate.

MINTO – One person is dead after an early morning crash here on Friday. Emergency crews responded to a serious collision on Highway 89, east of Harriston, on May 27 at about 6am.

GUELPH – A high school volleyball referee is facing 14 sexual misconduct charges involving teenaged girls working at recent games in Guelph.
