ELORA – Every year in October, Elora’s downtown comes alive with monsters, mushrooms and all things macabre during “Monster Month”.

WELLINGTON NORTH – Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash here on Saturday night that left one person dead. Wellington County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to the scene, on Wellington Road 6 near Mount Forest, on Aug. 5 at about 10pm.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – In the next few weeks, Wellington Advertiser readers may notice the newspaper has a reduced presence on social media. Meta, the company behind Facebook and Instagram, has decided to pull news from its sites in response to the Canadian government's passing of Bill C-18.

GUELPH – A charge of disclosing private communications levied against Centre Wellington resident Brenda Dolderman was stayed on July 25. The Crown may bring the charge back before the court within one year.

ERIN – The villages of Erin and Hillsburgh will eventually benefit from new high-speed internet infrastructure funded by the provincial and federal governments.
