HARRISTON – After nearly a dozen years in business locally, Ms-Beauty Med+Salon, Spa, Laser and Foot Care Clinic has opened in a spacious new downtown location here.

ELORA – Stirling Marathon has completed construction of the 50,000 square-foot addition it added to its manufacturing plant in Elora and expects to have it fully operational within the year. And when that happens, the family-owned business will be ready to hire.

ABERFOYLE – A gift card program started to help businesses by encouraging local shopping during the COVID-19 pandemic will be being discontinued by Puslinch Township. 

MOUNT FOREST - Wellington North council has approved the first Community Improvement Program grant of the year with $1,300 go toward a new sign at the recently-opened Blonde Design Co., located at 121 Main Street North.

MINTO – Town council has approved the sale of a 3.6-acre lot in the Palmerston Industrial Park to an area well drilling company.

ATWOOD – The chilly conditions didn’t keep maple syrup enthusiasts away on Friday, Feb. 24, as about 40 people gathered at Hoover’s Maple Syrup operation on Line 78 north of Atwood for the ceremonial first tree tapping of the season.

MAPLETON – Council here directed the owners of a rural home industry to investigate solutions to potential odour and emission concerns following a Feb. 14 public meeting on a proposed expansion.
