GUELPH – Bishop Macdonell student Adriana Richards, left, and Our Lady of Lourdes student Kellyanne Mangali officially became Wellington Catholic District School Board student trustees during the board’s first meeting of the school year on Sept. 9.

GUELPH – For over seven weeks, students have camped at the University of Guelph (U of G), where dozens of tents are set up within a barricade cloaked in flags and banners. But by July 15, the encampment is set to disappear. 

GUELPH – Students in Guelph and Wellington County can earn internationally-recognized diplomas through an International Baccalaureate (IB) program. But IB’s future in the Upper Grand District School Board is uncertain. 

TORONTO – GCVI choir students will perform with Foreigner at Budweiser Stage in June and Wilco at Massey Hall in July.

FERGUS – The UGDSB will conduct boundary reviews and consider public input to determine from which areas students will be assigned to the new Centre Wellington Elementary School and South Guelph Secondary School.

FERGUS – Artists and art enthusiasts flocked to Centre Wellington District High School (CWDHS) on the evening of May 8 for an art show and board-wide Live Art Battle.  

GUELPH – Three county students were recognized by Wellington Catholic District School Board officials during its board meeting on May 6.

FERGUS – Wearing paint-splattered aprons and looks of concentration, five Centre Wellington District High School students quickly created quality paintings set on a circle of easels in the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex on May 2.
