GUELPH –Public health officials have declared a COVID-19 outbreak at the Elliott Community facility in Guelph.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – The number of active COVID-19 cases in the region is down slightly from last week.

WELLINGTON COUNTY – Despite a rise in the daily count of new and active COVID-19 cases in Ontario in recent weeks, the number of local cases has remained relatively low.

ABERFOYLE – "Unfortunately, recent trends in positive (COVID-19) cases in Ontario are moving in the wrong direction," states an Oct. 30 press release from the township.

TORONTO – Provincial health experts say projections indicate Ontario may have avoided the worst-case scenario for the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. That said, case numbers are not expected to decline, as officials expect between 800 to 1,200 new cases per days for most of November.
