The Blessings to You Centre has purchased 200 pouches of soup from The Raw Carrot Soup Enterprise in Mount Forest for distribution to food banks in Palmerston, Harriston, and Clifford.

Supporting mental health – Palmerston’s Blessings to You Centre recently donated $1,900 for the May Mental Health Day and the Games Club at Palmerston Public School.

Flower show – The Mount Forest Horticultural Society held its May meeting and first flower show of the season on May 11.

Youth games – The Minto Youth Action Council hosted a free games night for local youth in Palmerston on May 15. 

Recruitment contribution – Mapleton Mayor Gregg Davidson presented the Minto Mapleton Health Professional Recruitment Committee with a $10,000 cheque on behalf of the township on May 16.

ARTHUR – Arthur Canadian Reformed Church recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of its inaugural service, which was held on Feb. 20, 2022.

Skylynn Boutique – A grand opening for Skylynn Boutique was held on May 2, with local dignitaries and members of the business community on hand.

Garden fun – Thirty students learned about horticulture in the Clifford and District Horticulture Society’s Let it Grow program.

Over the last five years, Clifford youth and families have literally put down roots in the community by planting almost 100 trees.

KENILWORTH - VED Homes has reduced the number of townhouses for a proposed development in Arthur by a single unit.
