HOLSTEIN – The 2023 Holstein Agro Expo and Rodeo, presented by Lewis Land and Stock, took place over the July 1 long weekend, in partnership with the Egremont Optimist Club’s Canada Day celebrations in Holstein.    

PALMERSTON – Crafts, treats, lunch and more were available at the Palmerston and District Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop bazaar at the Palmerston Community Centre on Nov. 4. 

HARRISTON – The Grey Wellington Theatre Guild is bringing a heartwarming Christmas comedy, set to seasonal music, to the stage at the Harriston Town Hall Theatre.

ARTHUR – A fall clean-up a was held at the Arthur cenotaph on Oct. 26.

MOUNT FOREST – The Mount Forest Lions Club made a donation of $2,500 during the CKNX Health Care Heroes Radiothon in support of the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation.

HARRISTON – On the evening of Nov. 2, members of the community gathered at the Harriston Legion to hear a presentation by Jim Henderson about the history and traditions of Remembrance Day in Canada.

PALMERSTON - The County of Wellington Museum and Archives brought its Canadian First World War Experience presentation to Grade 10 history students.

OTTAWA – Amid the wars, countless Canadian soldiers and nurses displayed extraordinary bravery and unwavering dedication, putting their lives on the line for our country.

HARRISTON - The Harriston Legion’s poppy banner has been placed near the local cenotaph this year.

MINTO – The Town of Minto, Minto Chamber of Commerce, Minto Fire and the local downtown revitalization committees are helping local families prepare for the holiday season with a wide range of events.

MOOREFIELD – Ivanka Fear was waiting in a parking lot for her husband to finish work when her imagination started spinning.

HARRISTON – Moondance and Bria Moore will be performing at the next Minto Arts Council Basement Cafe on Nov. 17.
