MOUNT FOREST – A fire last month at an apartment building on John Street in Mount Forest destroyed the apartment of Lindsay Whiteman, Frank Warris and their three-year-old son, Forest. The family lost everything in the fire.

TORONTO - The Ontario government is again easing restrictions for visiting loved ones at long term care homes. Effective June 9, day and overnight outings will be permitted for fully vaccinated residents.
Wellington North council approves future plans for new water towers
WELLINGTON NORTH – At a special meeting on June 2, council here approved plans to add a second water tower in Mount Forest, and to replace the two water towers in Arthur with a new tower.
Pedestrian bridge in Palmerston temporarily closed
PALMERSTON - The pedestrian bridge at the Palmerston Railway Museum has been temporarily closed. A June 3 statement from the Town of Minto indicated an inspection “has revealed some issues with a support pier and repairs are required.”
