Cattle, horses lost in Mapleton barn fire
MAPLETON – Four horses and 49 cattle were lost in a fire that destroyed a barn here on Aug. 15. Fire Chief Rick Richardson said Mapleton Fire Rescue was called to the blaze on the 4th Line near Wellington Road 12 at around 2:45pm.
Palmerston man dead after two-vehicle crash in North Perth
NORTH PERTH – A Palmerston man is dead following a two-vehicle collision here on Monday. Perth County OPP officials say emergency crews responded to the crash on Line 91, west of Perth Road 140, on Aug. 15 at around 11:45am.
